About Us
Cycle Hearse UK is based in Cambridge, but can travel all over the UK to help families. Because of insurance reasons we supply a suitably qualified cyclist to help on the day. Our cyclist, Andy is a qualified funeral director of over 30 years, a keen cyclist and multiple Ironman finisher – so you’ll be in very safe hands. Andy can wear either formal or non-formal funeral attire.
We will liaise with the funeral director to discuss the route for the day of the funeral, then a couple of days before the service, we touch base again just to make sure nothing has changed with the arrangements. As a funeral director, we understand the importance of making sure everything goes to plan – but are able to take action if it didn’t.

One Final Ride
The Route
Our cycle hearse can cover over 10 miles on a single journey, meaning that you can go via the deceased’s home, church or other venue and then onto the crematorium/cemetery
Community
For a cycle enthusiast’s last ride out, friends and family can join in and ride alongside the cycle hearse. We provide a rider who can wear either traditional funeral wear (black jacket, waistcoat and pinstripe trousers and a driver’s cap) or you may prefer something more colourful and relaxed.
Personal Touches
The cycle hearse can be decorated with flowers, banners and items that were dear to your loved one. It is the perfect way to help you, your family and friends say farewell to your loved one in a unique, way that will create fond memories for everyone.
